NEW PRIVATE TRAINING PROGRAMS
LOOSE LEASH & RECALL
**As with all of our programs, you will receive handouts. Support through phone calls and email is available between sessions.
LOOSE LEASH & RECALL
- Training will take place over a two month period.
- We will meet for 45 minutes every other week. We will work on training methods for you to reinforce and practice between lessons.
- The first two lessons will take place in and around your home.
- We will then meet at an off site location for the remaining two sessions.

LOOSE LEASH TRAINING
“The walk is not a time for your dog to blow you off and do his own thing, rather it’s a time for you to bond with your dog and have fun. Practice exercises during your walk where your dog focuses on you as if you’re playing games. The goal is that the walk becomes like an enjoyable conversation.” Sophia Yin, DVM, MS
Four sessions, $180
You will learn training exercises as well as problem solving techniques to reduce pulling. Focus and impulse control will be addressed.
RECALL
Recall training can be a life saving technique. Allowing your dog to be “off-leash” gives them the opportunity to truly “be a dog”. You will work on training that will teach your dog to understand about staying within range and coming back
Four Sessions, $180
TRICK TRAINING
You have worked hard on obedience now it is time to have FUN!! Delight yourself, your dog, family and friends with amazing tricks.
There is a menu for you to choose from such as spin, shake, high five, play dead, say your prayers, push the ball, etc., etc.
If you would like, you can include in the training some basic agility skills.
**All training will take place at your home.

DAY TRAINING
DAY TRAINING is a great option for people with busy schedules. We start with an evaluation to determine your
goals and set up a detailed training plan and schedule. Abby will visit your home to work with your dog in your absence.
BENEFITS OF DAY TRAINING
A certified trainer will work with your dog one on one.
Once your goals are determined, the trainer will focus on those areas.
It is a more affordable alternative to board and train.
There is less stress on your dog that can result in a kennel environment.
You will return to a tire, happy and well trained dog.
You will be taught how to reinforce the behaviors trained in your absence.
Handouts with detailed information regarding the training will be provided.
There is life time support to ensure long term success.

PRIVATE IN-HOME LESSONS
Consultation and Evaluation – We will use this appointment to discuss your individual needs and goals. $50.00 (fee credited upon signing of contract)
These lessons allow you to individualize your training experience. In addition to training your dog in the commands, you will be able to learn about your individual breed, specific training techniques for the specific challenges you might be presented with, as well as the many ways to integrate your dog into the family and build a better relationship with your dog by creating a well-balanced dog.
Individual One Hour Lessons $75
LESSON PACKAGES
PUPPY TRAINING (8 weeks to six months)
There is a tremendous advantage to in-home puppy training. We can address specific issues as well as behaviors that are specific to your breed of dog or difficulties that sometimes arise when adopting a dog from a shelter or rescue group. Within the six weeks, we will cover basic manners and housebreaking. You will begin the process of teaching the rudimentary commands of sit, down, stay and come as well as walking on a leash. Techniques for socialization will be introduced as well as methods to avoid or help your dogs with any fears, phobias or aggressive tendencies, etc. through the process of behavior modification.
$350 (6) - 1 hour sessions
BASIC OBEDIENCE (Six months & up)
This series of lessons is the foundation to all other type of training.
If you want a well-balanced dog in your home to the possibility of competing in shows or participating in a therapy program, it is mandatory that you start with the basic commands and make them a part of your dogs’ everyday life. We will teach you and your dog to create a solid sit, stay, down, and come. Loose leash walking will be an important component as well as the introduction of the heel while walking. These lessons will increase your dogs’ confidence as well as help with impulse control and improve manners. In these private lessons, we will touch on any specific issues that you would like to address.
$425 (6) - 1 hour sessions
$525 (8) - 1 hour sessions
INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE (Basic obedience prerequisite)
Continue to reinforce and build on basic skills in the presence of distractions. Develop the heel; increase the stay; begin to train off-leash; create a really reliable recall; and develop individual goals that will allow you to develop a stronger relationship with your dog.
**After completing this series of lessons, you will be prepared for the Canine Good Citizen exam and certification
. $450 (6) - 1 hour sessions
CGC PREPARATION
After the evaluation, together we will determine the training that you and your dog will require to prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. .The training will include off-site sessions.
$225 for (3) one hour sessions; $425 for (6) one hour sessions
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
Upon the completion of the evaluation and consultation, upon our recommendations, a plan will be developed for rehabilitation. The behaviors addressed will range from excessive jumping to aggressive tendencies as well as anxieties and phobias that many dogs experience such as separation anxiety.
$80 per hour
** With the purchase of a lesson package, you will be entitled to one free hour within the first year of training for follow-up and review.
